Points to Note:
The only voices correctly identified by more than a quarter of respondents were the two American voices. In contrast, the Australian accent was poorly identified, even though Australia is physically much closer to Indonesia than the US.
This may be an effect of television media on accent identification. Respondents watched predominantly American english-language television, helping them identify the American accents.
The two UK voices, and the NZ male were clear losers on most personality traits.
The greatest amount of variation in the personality traits was for solidarity, with the American female the clear winner.
The lack of variation in traits other than solidarity may be due to relatively consistent perceived status of English speakers.
